Brodsky Trio
Formed in 2020, the "Brodsky Trio" has already achieved global recognition with numerous recordings and concert tours. The engagements include performances at the Berlin Philharmonic Hall, the Zurich Tonhalle, the Baden-Baden Festspielhaus, the Ankara Presidential Concert Hall and the Atatürk Concert Hall.
The name of the trio is derived from Kirill Troussov's violin "The Brodsky", a Stradivarius from 1702, which was the instrument on which violinist Adolph Brodsky performed the world premiere of Tchaikovsky's violin concerto, on the 4th of December 1881. The cellist Benedict Kloeckner, who runs his own festival in Germany, and the sibling duo Troussov & Troussova are not only great friends but also exude incredible energy during their performances.
